As an important equipment in the lamination process, hot press machines are often used for veneering and pressing molded parts in furniture manufacturing. Their production capacity and technical performance constrain the production scale and product quality of enterprises. The veneer hot press machine used in the furniture industry has a size that is basically suitable for the specifications of artificial boards (1220 × 2440mm), and the surface pressure is usually 0.2~0.4MPa, with a corresponding total pressure of 120t. In addition to the main technical parameters such as hot press plate size, total pressure, number of layers, and surface pressure, the hot press machine also has other technical parameters such as opening and closing time, heating temperature, and productivity, which need to be determined according to different process requirements. The working process of the hot press machine for veneer can be divided into five stages: closing, boosting, holding, unloading, and lowering. The host of the press can be divided into three main parts in terms of functional implementation: heating system (providing heat source), hydraulic system (providing pressure and controlling the action of the press), and press body (frame, control part).

For particle board lamination is from 20~50 kg/cm2, for MDF embossing pressure is from 50~80 kg/cm2, for laminate flooring is from 60~110 kg/cm2
